Community Involvement

From the very beginning, Christopher's World Grille has understood the importance of giving back to the community and loves to support the activities of nonprofit organizations in the Brazos Valley. It's a way we help all kinds of groups celebrate a special event, draw a crowd to raise awareness of an important issue, or advance fundraising efforts.

We offer different types of donations, including food and gift certificates. Unfortunately, we get many more requests for donations than we can honor, but we try our best to share the giving with a fair hand. If you represent a nonprofit organization and would like to make a request for a Christopher's World Grille donation, please review our Donation Guidelines below and click here for a Donation Request Form (pdf).

Donation Guidelines

Your request must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Your organization has a 'not-for-profit' status, or you are a school or municipality.
  • The donation is for an event-based program.
  • Your event has a specific date.
  • We receive your request at least four weeks in advance.
  • We have not supported your event in the past 12 months.

*Please bear in mind that we always get more requests for donations than we can support. Even if you meet our requirements, we unfortunately cannot guarantee fulfillment on all requests. If we are unable to help you out this time, please think of us for future events.

Christopher's World Grille proudly supports Still Creek Ranch. Danny and Margaret O'Quinn took over the management of Still Ranch in 1988 wanting to provide a safe loving home for disadvantaged children, children who had suffered from abuse or abandonment and had no where else to go. The Still Creek Ranch you see today is home to these children; a safe home where they study, work, gain confidence and grow. In the Fall of 2006, Christopher Lampo taught a semester-long cooking class for these students at Christopher's World Grille. Hopefully, these children not only began learning the fundamentals of cooking, but a passion for food and set of skills they can use for the rest of their lives. We are also proud that through the efforts of Christopher and other local chefs, the Texas Chef's Association has adopted Still Creek Ranch as one of its organization's featured charities. We invite you to view Still Creek Ranch's website and contact the O'Quinn's to provide any help you can to their very worthy efforts. Christopher Lampo has also served on or is serving on the boards of MSC OPAS, City of Bryan-College Station Convention and Visitor's Bureau, St. Mary's Catholic Church Pastoral Council, the Allen Academy Strategic Planning Committee, and is Membership Chair of the Texas Chefs Association.

Giving back as a group, the entire Christopher's family often times pulls together to participate in community service events/activities. For example, the wait staff and kitchen at Christopher's World Grille recently donated their time and efforts to serve dinner and honor the Veteran's Association at the restaurant. In the past, members of staff have also gone to Scotty's House to serve Christmas dinner. The Christopher's family has also fed participants of Habitat for Humanity.

We truly value giving back to the community and cherish the opportunity to do so.
