David James - Chef de Cuisine
David graduated from Bryan High School in 1984 and began his culinary career. In 1986, he was Kitchen Manager of Interuban Eating House. Soon thereafter, he earned his Culinary Degree from the Culinary School at Johnson and Wales in Providence, Rhode Island. From 1992-98, he worked on Clipper Cruise Line MV Nantucket and MV Yorktown. In fact, he became Executive Chef after 6 months (Nantucket) and then transferred to Yorktown as Executive Chef. Next, he moved on to Norwegian Cruise Line as a Sous Chef, and after 6 months, transferred to MS Windward (with 1800 passengers) as Executive Sous Chef. Then, he moved on to SS Norway with over 2500 passengers. After traveling around the world, he became an Executive Chef at a seasonal resort in Bigfork, Montana. In 2000, he was Executive Chef at Heritage Inn in Southbury, Connecticut. In 2002, he moved home and joined the Christopher's Team.

Manuel Tzunun - Sous Chef
Manuel "Manny" Alberto Tzunun was born in Totonicapan, Guatemala. He emigrated to the U.S. with his family as a teenager and learned to cook at several restaurants in the Bryan/College Station area. He joined the Christopher's team in 2004 and continues to hone his excellent skills. He and his wife, Patricia, have two daughters, Caitlyn and Meredith.

Laura Leminger - Administrative and Reservation Manager
Laura Leminger has been working for the Lampo family for the last 20 years - starting in Christopher's father's business with Pizza Huts of Brazos Valley, then with Christopher's brothers' restaurants - Tejas Cafe, and ultimately, with Christopher's World Grille for the past 8 years (5 of which have been on premise at Christopher's World Grille). She is the business manager and Christopher's personal assistant . . . also known as 'Christopher's Work Wife.' Laura is married to her husband, Bill, and has two children, Kaitlyn and Kevin.

Tina McGlothlin - Event Coordinator
Tina emigrated from Hanau, Germany, where she graduated with a Restaurant Fachfrau, a three-year training program toward a degree in Restaurant Expertise (February 2000). She served as Banquet Secretary at the Hotel Waitz in Mühlheim am Main, Germany (2000-2001), and Banquet Service Coordinator at the TRYP Hotel in Langenselbold, Germany (2001-2002). Ms. McGlothlin also holds an ESL (English as a Second Language) degree (2003-2004), and began working at Christopher's World Grille in 2007 as a hostess, and was promoted to Office Assistant (2008) and Banquet Coordinator (2010). She is married to Bill McGlothlin and has three children, William, Dorian, and Angelika.

Philip Jones - Senior Service Manager
Philip worked on private yachts with Christopher. When Christopher decided to open a restaurant in Texas, he sent word to Philip that he needed his help. Philip arrived in Texas in October of 1998 and actually helped restore the 100-year-old ranch house and has been serving as the Service Manager for the past 8 years. He was the Best Man in Christopher and Sandi's wedding and remains his best friend and longest serving employee.

Devin Tinney - Wine Director
Devin joined Christopher's World Grille as a server with much experience in the service industry. He worked his way up through the ranks and became a student supervisor for the restaurant, where he continued to develop his passion and education in wines. When the opportunity presented itself, Devin accepted a Service Manager position and continued his passion and training of the staff in wines and spirits. He was given the responsibility of Wine Director in 2006 where he was instrumental in earning our 2007 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine. He has passed his first round of Sommelier Exams and is currently studying for the Master Sommelier Exam.

Karin Shepard - Head Server / Head Trainer
Karin was born in Newport Beach, California and graduated from San Diego State University (1982). When asked how she came to Christopher's, Ms. Shepard usually tells people: "My 1972 Monte Carlo broke down in Aggieland in 1994 and I never left." In 1998, she was voted Waitress of the Year by the Texas Restaurant Association, and begin her career at Christopher's World Grille in 2001. She was named Favorite Waitress of the Brazos Valley (2009) for her excellence in service at Christopher's World Grille. She lives in the nearby community of Iola, Texas with her husband, David, and their pet boxers.

Loring Britt - Senior Service Supervisor
Loring was Born in Chicago,Illinois, moving to Houston,Texas in January 1980, where he attended Texas Southern University, majoring in chemical engineering and business administration. He Moved to College Station, Texas (June 2007) to retire and simply "take time off from working". He Discovered Christopher's World Grille and immediately developed a bond with Senior Service Manager, Philip Jones and Certified Executive Chef, Christopher Lampo, and agreed to join the staff to serve a variety of functions as needed. Mr. Britt trained for reservations services at Commanders Palace in New Orleans, became certified in the Corporate Server Training program with The Capital Grille franchise, and served as general manager at two family owned restaurants. He was Captain and lead Trainer at Brennans (Houston, Texas) for 5 years, gaining extensive knowledge about Creole cuisine and fine American and French wines. Mr. Britt further honed his skills at Cafe Annie (Houston, Texas) for 5 years, serving as Corporate Server Trainer. Mr. Britt as served at Christopher's World Grille as Server, Assistant Manager, and Supervisor for over three years, and continues to uphold fine service standards, placing exceptional emphasis on guest relations, food knowledge, and wine pairings and understandings. He brings to the Christopher's staff a deep understanding of supervisory responsibilities, maintenance of exclusive client lists, maître d’ services, payroll and training and service standard, procedures and programs.
